The 18th West Lake International Expo is set to open in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province on Oct 13, hosting some 33 major events over the coming month.

The Computing Conference

The Computing Conference will be held at the international convention and exhibition center of Cloud Town in Hangzhou from Oct 13 to 16, with more than 40,000 people estimated to attend the conference.

It is expected that the conference will have over 100 forums and 500 speeches on themes including artificial intelligence, virtual reality, robotics, unmanned aerial vehicles, and the Internet of Things.

There will be a computing challenge on security algorithms based on big data for global programmers.

A Yunqi music festival, combining with the latest technologies will also be staged, as well as TechGo, a night running activity.

Cultural expo on the Hangzhou G20 Summit

The expo will be held at Zhejiang Narada International Exhibition Center from Oct 14 to 16 with the theme of "Better G20, Better Hangzhou".

It will be made up of seven summit-related display sections: the site, the cuisine, volunteers, performances, logistics support and souvenirs.

The 10th (2016) Hangzhou Cultural & Creative Industry Expo

The 10th (2016) Hangzhou Cultural & Creative Industry Expo will open to the public at Baimahu International Convention & Exhibition Center from Oct 20 to 24.

The expo has two halls themed on creative design and cultural life, as well as exhibition areas, covering 65,000 square meters.

Visitors to the expo will also be able to attend multiple events like the China Grand Canal Temple Fair (Oct 21-31), China International E-Commerce Expo (Oct 27-30), Hangzhou International Automobile Industry Exhibition (Oct 13-17), China International Silk Expo (Oct 14-16), and 2016 Zhejiang International Healthcare Expo (Oct 20-22).
