Shanlian town is located in the south of Nanxun district, Huzhou in Zhejiang province. A quaint town by the waterside, Shanlian has won a place in the Chinese history thanks to the technology of ink brush making. It is the cradle of Huzhou ink brushes and has long produced the majority of them.
