East China's Zhejiang province has released a document to ensure the stable development of foreign trade in the current uncertain global economic climate, officials announced at a news conference Oct 31.
The document includes 10 measures to deal with the current trading frictions and uncertainties. It proposes a normalized response and working mechanism to diversify markets, cultivate new businesses in foreign trade, upgrade the export structure, optimize the business environment, promote international cooperation in productivity, strengthen financial and insurance support, reinforce tax refunds, intensify legal aid and employment assistance, and strengthen the organization, implementation, supervision and assessment of the work.
The document is a rapid response to appeals from companies. It sticks to the rules of the World Trade Organization and focuses on the creation of a better business environment for foreign trade enterprises to ease their burden.
