Advanced geospatial technologies and applications, represented by driverless cars, remote sensing devices and the internet of vehicles, are attracting attention at an exhibition in Deqing county, Huzhou, Zhejiang province.

The Geospatial Technology and Application Exhibition started on Nov 18, one day ahead of the much-anticipated first United Nations World Geospatial Information Congress.

A total of 218 enterprises and institutions from nearly 40 countries and regions, including global corporate icons and domestic giants, are showcasing their latest trend-setting products in a 13,000-square-meter exhibition hall in the county.

The exhibition displays innovative cutting-edge geospatial applications and how technological advancements are reshaping people's daily lives and work. It also showcases the integrated development of geospatial information technologies and artificial intelligence, big data and the internet of things.

Dragonfly T50, a kind of un-manned helicopter developed by Zhejiang University, is displaying its wide application in surveying and mapping. Self-driving vehicles and delivery robots presented by China's e-commerce giant, JD.com, are revealing the latest advances in logistics.

More than a gathering of technologies and applications, the exhibition is a platform where corporations and institutes can have exchanges and promote cooperation, according to the organizing committee.
