A traditional lantern show for the approaching Chinese New Year opened in Wuzhen, Tongxiang city of Zhejiang province on Jan 28. More than 330 lanterns in different shapes lit up the ancient water town in East China.

The lunar New Year, the Year of the Pig in the Chinese calendar, falls this year on Feb 5.
