In 1999, they changed the company's name to "Jack" to cater to the international market, as the name was easy to recognize.

The torrent of globalization brought about new opportunities. In 2009, in spite of the financial crisis, Jack Sewing Machine Co Ltd acquired two German companies to survive the sluggish economy. The acquisition turned out to be a solid investment as it helped raise the company's international profile.

In 2018, the Taizhou company acquired Vi.Be.Mac, an Italian company leading the world in industrial sewing machines.

That same year, Jack Sewing Machine Co Ltd saw its sales value exceed 4.252 billion yuan ($633.4 million), ranking first among the world's sewing machine makers for the ninth consecutive year.
