Xitang Ancient Town

Xitang is famous for its roofed foot path stretching more than 1,300 meters along the river – which some say is reminiscent of the Summer Palace. It now serves as popular sightseeing route for visitors.

There's no better way to spend a day than sitting by the water, sipping green tea. Residents still live in old style houses, and many homes boast rare woodcarvings. The whole town is very well preserved.
