In Shaoxing, the Party chief observed the trial production of a luxury intelligent electric car produced by Enovate Automobile Technology Group based in the city's Binhai New District.

He encouraged the company to stay ahead of market demand and create a new mobile travel experiences for consumers.

In order to deal with issues related to supply chains, he advised the company to strengthen cooperation with advanced automobile manufacturers in the Zhejiang Greater Bay Area to share supply chain resources and work to achieve mass production and initial public offerings as soon as possible.

Other places Che inspected in Shaoxing include the Shangyu District Industrial Collaborative Innovation Center and e-Games Town, an industrial park focusing on the pan-entertainment information economy revolving around games, e-sports, animation, film and television, etc.

Che praised the two cities' achievements so far this year, calling for "extraordinary" efforts to recover economic losses in the first quarter while also working to control the epidemic.

More targeted measures should be put in place to further stimulate the private sector, he added.
