The southwest Zhejiang ecological and environmental health examination center, the first of its kind in China, was inaugurated in Lishui on May 28.

The center, jointly built by Zhejiang Ecological and Environmental Monitoring Center and Lishui Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau, will comprehensively improve Lishui's regional environmental quality management capacity.

The center provides physical examinations, diagnosis and treatment services for the environmental protection management of enterprises and institutions in southwest Zhejiang province.

According to officials, Lishui will use the center to raise the level of systematic ecological governance, promote the practice of "ecological economy, economic ecology" in an all-round way, and accelerate the transformation of ecological factors into production factors, ecological values into economic values, and ecological advantages into development advantages.
