Quzhou is located at the intersection of some of the country's most famous scenic wonders (Huangshan Mountain in Anhui province, Sanqing Mountain in Jiangxi province, Qiandaohu Lake in Zhejiang province).

Root Palace Buddhist Cultural Tourism Zone – the first 5A-level scenic spot in Quzhou, covers a total area of 3.03 square kilometers and deftly integrates root carving art, ancient garden architecture and five thousand years of traditional Chinese culture.
