The Zhejiang provincial government and Bank of China signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement on Dec 11.

According to the agreement, the two sides will work together on Zhejiang's key economic initiatives, including the development of the China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone (Zhejiang FTZ) and the "Big Garden" project.

Bank of China recently published an action plan dedicated to providing improved financial services to the Zhejiang FTZ. It also agreed to establish a green finance academy in the Zhejiang city of Huzhou and to offer financial support to Zhejiang-born businesspeople as part of the "dual-circulation" development pattern.
