Foreign guests get a taste of China's tea culture

Foreign guests, including diplomats in China, from more than 30 countries visited the China National Tea Museum in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province on April 15 to experience the charm of Zhejiang's tea culture.

During the trip, they learnt about the history, stories, and customs of tea in the city.

"China has a long history in planting tea and boasts a profound tea culture," said Raja Dato' Nushirwan Zainal Abidin, ambassador of Malaysia to China.

The museum trip was part of the "Stories of CPC - Zhejiang's Achievements in Practicing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era" thematic briefing, which was held in Hangzhou on April 14.
