Intl education programs offered on Zhejiang campuses

The Ministry of Education recently released a list of international degree programs that will be launched by Chinese universities in the upcoming fall semester.

Admission into these programs is determined by each university's criteria and is not influenced by national student recruitment plans.

On the list are programs hosted by eight Zhejiang-based universities: The China Academy of Art, Zhejiang University of Technology, Zhejiang Gongshang University, Zhejiang University of Finance & Economics, the Communication University of Zhejiang, Hangzhou Normal University, the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC), and Wenzhou-Kean University (WKU).

The China Academy of Art will run a master's degree in art (international brand publicity) program in cooperation with the Brand University of Applied Sciences in Germany. It will also run a master's degree in art program in cooperation with L’École de design Nantes Atlantique in France.

Zhejiang University of Technology will offer a master's degree in international trade and finance program in cooperation with Leeds Beckett University in Britain.

Zhejiang Gongshang University and the University of Sussex in Britain will run an artificial intelligence college on the former university's campus. The former will also offer a master's degree in management in cooperation with the University of Quebec at Chicoutimi in Canada.

Zhejiang University of Finance & Economics will offer a master's degree in applied finance in cooperation with the Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand.

Communication University of Zhejiang will offer a master's degree in visual media in cooperation with the University of Bolton in Britain.

Hangzhou Normal University and the University of Canberra in Australia will run a master's degree in educational leadership program.

The UNNC is a joint venture between the University of Nottingham in Britain and Zhejiang Wanli University, while the WKU is a joint venture between Wenzhou University in Zhejiang and Kean University in the United States.
