The 16th China Yiwu Cultural and Tourism Products Trade Fair commenced on Sept 25 at the Yiwu International Expo Center and will conclude on Sept 27.

The fair is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government.

Yiwu, a county-level city in East China's Zhejiang province, is often dubbed "the world's supermarket" as it is home to the world's largest wholesale market for small commodities.

The fair, featuring more than 3,100 standard exhibition booths in a 60,000-square-meter space, is attended by around 1,000 enterprises and institutions from 26 provincial-level regions across China.

The exhibits, which include creative cultural products and services, smart tourism services, tourism and holiday supplies, handicrafts, intangible cultural heritage products, are being showcased at the fair and on its official website.
