Ancient Lishui boxing martial art recognized

Buyiquan, or Buyi Fist – a form of Chinese boxing that is 500 years old – was recognized as a provincial-level item of intangible cultural heritage of East China's Zhejiang province recently. Buyiquan originated in Suichang county in Zhejiang's Lishui city. It is a martial art that was used by villagers to protect themselves and their property in ancient times.
