Lishui GDP up 7.3% in Q1
In the first quarter, Lishui in Zhejiang province saw a GDP of 47.23 billion yuan ($6.52 billion), a 7.3 percent year-on-year increase at constant prices.
Key highlights:
I. Stable agricultural production
- Agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and fishery output totaled 3.45 billion yuan, up 4.4 percent year-on-year.
- Stable production of major agricultural products was seen, with increases in vegetable (4.3 percent), fruit (6.7 percent), and edible fungus (7.0 percent) production.
II. Rapid industrial production growth
- Added value of industries above designated size reached 9.98 billion yuan, growing by 10.5 percent year-on-year, accelerating by 2.6 percentage points compared to the previous year's annual growth rate.
- Total profits of enterprises in these industries reached 540 million yuan, a 1.7 percent year-on-year increase.
III. Continued recovery in service industry
- Value added of the service industry was 28.47 billion yuan, up by 6.3 percent.
- Operating income of service enterprises above designated size surged by 36.4 percent from January to February.
IV. Steady growth in resident income
- Per capita disposable income of all residents reached 14,754 yuan, increasing 6.9 percent year-on-year.
- Urban residents' disposable income per capita was 19,333 yuan, up 5.9 percent, while that of rural residents was 8,205 yuan, 8.5 percent.
