Lishui launches new tourism activities for upcoming holiday
Lishui, Zhejiang province, has unveiled a series of cultural and tourism activities for the upcoming National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday — the first since the opening of Lishui Airport. At a news conference held on Sept 11, authorities announced a series of benefits for tourists.
The city offers flight travelers free local specialties, including coffee and wine in Qingtian county, shaobing, a kind of bucket-baked roll, in Xiandu scenic spot in Jinyun county, pear juice in Yunhe county, and Lishui mountain spring water in specific spots including the airport.

Many hotels and homestays also provide discounts to guests presenting their flight tickets. Liandu district offers free entry to its 4A-level scenic spots, while Qingtian county provides accommodation vouchers worth up to 200 yuan ($28.10).
In addition, Lishui will launch the "Lishui 520" self-driving route, a road trip themed around romance. Convenient shuttle services and over 20,000 free urban parking spaces are available to facilitate travel.
A variety of sports events will be held across the city, including ZheBA — Zhejiang's province-wide community basketball league, off-road adventures in Longquan, a county-level city in Lishui, as well as kayaking and e-foil competitions in Qingyuan county.

Cultural activities will take place throughout Lishui's counties and districts, featuring immersive performances, light shows, harvest festivals, and intangible cultural heritage experiences.
