The Lishui Football Super League, also known as "Lichao", has sparked enthusiasm among local fans.

The league features 10 teams divided into two groups. Group A includes Qingyuan county, Liandu district, Suichang county, Longquan city, and Lishui Economic and Technological Development Zone. Group B consists of Yunhe county, Qingtian county, Songyang county, Jingning She autonomous county, and Jinyun county.

The competition follows an 11-a-side format. The group stage will be a single round-robin with home-and-away matches, with each team playing two home and two away games.

The knockout stage includes semifinals and a final, with the final being a home-and-away series to determine the champion and runner-up. A total of 24 matches will be played.

After the teams were formed, they began training. Supporters across the city have been actively brainstorming team names, designing flags, and selecting slogans.

The opening match of the league is scheduled for Dec 20, featuring Liandu Team against Lishui Economic and Technological Development Zone Team. Fans express anticipation for exciting games and plan to attend the opener to cheer for the teams.
