Six stainless steel pipe enterprises from Songyang county, Lishui, Zhejiang province, participated in Tube Düsseldorf 2026 held from April 13 to 17 in Germany. The biennial event is the world's largest and most influential tube and wire exhibition.

The Songyang exhibitors presented stainless steel seamless coiled tubes, multi-core tubes, and duplex stainless steel seamless pipes, highlighting local manufacturing strength and engaging global buyers.

According to Zhejiang Xintongda Special Steel Manufacturing, which first joined the group in 2024, its exports reached $3.44 million that year, up 155.9 percent. The company's sales manager said the 2024 fair opened up new international opportunities, leading to its return this year.

Zhejiang Baofeng Special Materials, a long-time international exhibitor, was also among the six participants.

According to Han Shifeng, head of the company and chairman of the Songyang Stainless Steel Industry Association, joint participation helps firms gain overseas market experience, secure orders, and demonstrate industry competitiveness.

The stainless steel pipe industry is a pillar of Songyang's industrial economy, accounting for over 45 percent of China's seamless stainless steel pipe output.

Amid a complex global trade environment, the commerce bureau of Songyang county identified the needs of enterprises and organized the joint exhibition to offer them a broader global platform.

Additional measures, including targeted policies, talent recommendations, and streamlined services, are supporting the industry's global growth.
