The 2026 Asia-Oceania Inline/Rink Roller Hockey Clubs Champions Cup opened on Aug 6 in Lishui, Zhejiang province, marking the first time this top-tier intercontinental club event has been held in China.

The tournament, a highlight of the 2026 Lishui International Roller Skating Open, has attracted over 1,000 athletes from nine countries and regions.

Running from Aug 5 to 12, the event features multiple competitions including the Asia-Oceania Inline/Rink Roller Hockey Clubs Champions Cup, the Asian Speed Track Series, and the Lishui International Inline Freestyle Open.

More than 2,000 participants from 24 countries and regions compete across four disciplines: inline hockey, rink hockey, speed skating, and freestyle skating.

Lishui has built a strong reputation in roller skating in recent years, with venues meeting international standards and a thriving local community that includes thousands of trained athletes and young enthusiasts.

The city is now the only one in the world with both indoor and outdoor curved-surface professional speed skating tracks, demonstrating its capacity to host major international events.
