The first main tower of Taoyaomen Railway and Highway Bridge, part of the Ningbo-Zhoushan Railway, topped out on Feb 4, marking the start of the cable-stayed anchor and beam installation phase.

Taoyaomen Bridge connects Fuchi Island and Cezi Island in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province. The main bridge spans 1,066 meters in total, with a central span of 666 meters. The topped-out main tower is on the Fuchi Island side and stands 198.1 meters tall with a hollow reinforced concrete structure.

Ningbo-Zhoushan Railway will cover about 76.4 kilometers from Ningbo to Zhoushan, with a designed speed of 250 km per hour. Once completed, it is expected to end the lack of railway access to Zhoushan's islands. The line will significantly improve the rail network in the Yangtze River Delta region, promote integration between Ningbo and Zhoushan, and support the high-quality development of Zhejiang's marine economy.
