The five-day average temperature surpassed 10 C in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province, from Feb 20 to 25, marking the arrival of spring.

Typically, Zhoushan welcomes spring around March 15, but this year, the season arrived more than 20 days early.

Walking through the streets of Zhoushan these days, one can already see the vibrant colors of spring flowers. On Putuo Mountain, tulips are blooming in several locations, while large cherry trees are quietly coming into flower in Xincheng Yinghua Park. Meanwhile, the early pink cherry blossoms at Shenyuan Park are now in full bloom.
