Over 130 representatives from national travel agencies and cultural tourism organizations attended a promotional event on March 10 for Taohua Island in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province.

Four new Taohua Island travel routes were introduced at the event, while the "Taohua Island One-Stop" smart tourism app was launched to provide travel agencies with an easy tool for group bookings.

Taohua attracts nationwide attention due to its unique island resources and clear brand positioning. The island, with its mild climate, dense forests, and rich ecological environment, has become a top choice in the wellness tourism market. According to Zhu Weiqiu, secretary general of the National Tourism Hotline Alliance, the organization will guide more visitors from northern China to Taohua for winter escape experiences.

Liu Yi, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Taohua town, provided a comprehensive overview of the island's tourism offerings, highlighting the island's integration into the Yangtze River Delta region, which has made it more accessible.

In recent years, Taohua Island has focused on a youthful, fashionable, leisurely, and romantic tourism identity, aiming to create an emotional and positive connection with visitors.
