Consul general of Pakistan in Shanghai visits Lishui

Consul General of Pakistan in Shanghai, Shehzad Ahmad Khan, has led a delegation to Lishui, Zhejiang province, for a visit focused on industrial collaboration, educational exchange, and investment opportunities.

The delegation toured the Lishui Museum to gain insights into the city's history and ecological practices. They then visited Lishui Vocational and Technical College and Lishui University to discuss semiconductor and intelligent manufacturing programs, industry-education integration, and student exchanges.

The consul general noted Pakistan's strong demand for technical talent and looked forward to institutional partnerships and faculty-student exchanges between the two sides.

A business matchmaking seminar was also held during the visit. The consul general introduced Pakistan's investment policies and bilateral cooperation prospects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

The investment promotion center of Lishui presented the city's industrial landscape, while the semiconductor industry association highlighted local supply chain strengths and cross-border collaboration directions. The two universities shared their talent cultivation achievements.

The consul general praised Lishui's ecological assets, industrial foundation, and educational resources, pointing out that Pakistan's emerging semiconductor and new energy sectors align well with Lishui's strengths. He offered to facilitate business matchmaking and two-way trade, investment, and cultural exchanges.

Moving forward, Lishui will leverage this visit to tap into Pakistan's market, deepen cooperation in economy, talent, and culture, and promote sustained friendly ties.
