A Tanzanian entrepreneur received an OPC (one-person company) business license on Aug 18 in Ouhai district, Wenzhou, Zhejiang province, marking the first OPC business license for a foreign individual in Wenzhou and opening new pathways for international talent to innovate and start businesses in Ouhai.

OPC is a new entrepreneurial model where an individual, supported by AI, independently manages the entire process from product design to market launch.

"This is Ouhai's first foreign OPC business license, with two more foreign OPCs preparing to launch," said Yang Huichao, head of Ouhai market supervision bureau's registration division.

The bureau is committed to supporting the development of an AI-driven OPC entrepreneurial hub by streamlining market entry services and offering a fast-track, cost-free assistance model, enabling same-day application, review, and licensing to reduce institutional costs.
