The Taipei leg of the Black Myth: Wukong Global Concert opened at Legacy MAX on Sept 19, marking its first performance in Taiwan.

Based on the AAA game Black Myth: Wukong, the concert brought together musicians from the Chinese mainland and Taiwan, along with a US orchestra. The program featured 17 tracks from the game's soundtrack, plus arrangements of Celestial Symphony and Dare Ask Where the Road Is, combining symphonic music, traditional Chinese instruments, live vocals, and game visuals.

Li Jiaqi, audio director of Black Myth: Wukong, said the performance used the dizi, pipa, guzheng, and suona alongside the orchestra.

Music from Black Myth: Zhong Kui was also performed. Li said work on its music was underway and more Black Myth music could be added to future programs.

The two-night Taipei run concluded on Sept 20.
