Hangzhou in Zhejiang province will host a leg of the 2026 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup China League at the Hangzhou Equestrian Center from Oct 29 to Nov 1.

Founded in 1978, the FEI Jumping World Cup is one of the sport's premier international competitions, known for its great difficulty level and strong international participation. The series has been held for 48 consecutive editions.

This season's China League comprises two regular rounds and a final. Following the opening round in Beijing in May, Hangzhou will host the second round, with the annual final scheduled for Chengdu in late November. The rider topping the season's standings will qualify for the FEI Jumping World Cup Final in Gothenburg, Sweden, in March 2027.

The Hangzhou Equestrian Center in Yaolin town, Tonglu county, served as the venue for equestrian events at the 2023 Asian Games. Since then, it has developed the Tonglu Equestrian Park and explored commercial events, training, and tourism, offering a model for the continued use of major sports venues.

Equestrian sports have also gained momentum in Zhejiang, where a multi-tier competition system now includes provincial championships, champion series, and leagues. More than 10 provincial-level or higher competitions are held annually, while hundreds of young riders train regularly across the province.
