An international procurement matchmaking event for the energy storage industry was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, on Oct 20, generating approximately $450 million in potential purchases.

The event brought together 49 representatives of overseas industry organizations and buyers from the European Union, Southeast Asia, Australia, and other markets to meet with nearly 300 representatives of Zhejiang-based new energy companies.

It was jointly organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Zhejiang Provincial Committee, the Economy and Information Technology Department of Zhejiang Province, and Informa Markets Asia.

The event provided opportunities for Zhejiang companies to connect with overseas buyers and explore potential business partnerships.

Student volunteers from Zhejiang International Studies University provided bilingual interpretation services during the negotiations, helping Chinese companies and overseas buyers communicate.
