The aviation division of Zhejiang Wanfeng Auto Holding Group recently acquired Diamond Aircraft, a world-leading manufacturer of general aviation aircraft and motor gliders.

This acquisition, making Wanfeng a top world aircraft manufacturer, is another successful attempt from the group's internationalization strategy.

Diamond Aircraft, one of the world's leading aircraft makers, has successfully integrated design, manufacturing, research and development and sales. Diamond's main products, including the DA20, DA40, DA42 and DA62, enjoy great popularity around the world, especially in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia, for their easy operation, safety and affordability.

Wanfeng has always been a good example for Zhejiang companies in cross-border development. From the US robotics manufacturer Paslin to Diamond, Wanfeng is gradually forming an industrial aviation chain, including aircraft manufacturing, airport construction, flight operations and aviator training.
