Hangzhou, capital of East China’s Zhejiang province, remained the top choice for talents across the country, according to a survey recently carried out by the job-hunting company Liepin.

The net rate of talents flowing into Hangzhou is 11.78 percent, much higher than China’s four traditional first-tier cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen.

Analysis by Liepin suggested Hangzhou’s appeal lies in its strength in the internet and financial sectors, such as the tech giant Alibaba and its financial arm Ant Financial.

Furthermore the friendly climate, plus a better living environment, also contributed to Hangzhou’s fast steps growing into a popular talent hub.
