Lan Jingfen, Party secretary of Daji village in Jingning county, solved farmers' housing issues by frequently paying visits and making numerous investigations. She once braved all the difficulties to deal with emergencies brought by typhoon and saved 6 million yuan. She also donated to the poor to support their studies. 

Lan plans to submit a report of the local needs to the central government, publicize the local culture and learn from other ethnic groups.
