Ihor, an artist of merit in Ukraine and member of the country's National Artists Association, has visited China many times and is attracted by the country's beautiful ancient villages and its traditional wash painting.

Ihor said that he intends to hold an exhibition for the paintings he drew in China over recent years in Ukraine in the next half year in order to display beautiful Chinese villages to his countrymen and also demonstrate what he learnt from his fellow Chinese painters.

The Homestay in Jinhua's Historical Villages series of activities is sponsored by Zhejiang Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Jinhua Municipal People's Government.
