The international conference on celadon is co-hosted by China Ceramics Industrial Association, Zhejiang culture and tourism department, Zhejiang economic and information bureau and Lishui government with the aim of better protecting and promoting celadon culture.

Themed on celadon and quality life, it will provide platforms for experts and scholars from home and abroad to discuss the development of the celadon industry by organizing a total of 28 activities, including 12 forums and seminars, nine exhibitions, four auctions and three fairs.

Ye Jing, vice director of Zhejiang culture and tourism bureau said that the first World Celadon conference will present the inheritance and development of Longquan celadon in an all-round way and they hope it will help celadon crafts gain more presence in people's lives.
