Construction of Wenling West Railway Station, a crucial part of the Wenyu Railway project in Taizhou, East China's Zhejiang province, was progressing steadily as of July 29, with completion expected by the end of 2025.

With a total investment of 109 million yuan ($15.15 million), the station is designed with a 2-platform, 4-track layout. Its architectural design has curved facade elements that reflect the coastal identity in Wenling, a county-level city in Taizhou.

The Wenyu Railway is a significant infrastructure initiative that will address a long-standing transportation gap in Yuhuan, a county-level city in Taizhou, which currently lacks railway access. Once completed, it will integrate Yuhuan into the regional rail network, moving Taizhou closer to achieving full county-level rail coverage.

The new railway line is expected to significantly improve connectivity across the region. Additionally, it will boost the development of tourism and other industries along the route.
