Taizhou hosts cultural exchange through short video contest

The Hehe Culture Communication and Exchange Event opened in Taizhou, East China's Zhejiang province, on July 30 as the city hosted the awards ceremony for the "China in My Eyes — One Town One Product" Short Video Contest.
The event welcomed cultural envoys and winners from 20 countries, who explored Chinese culture through their lenses and shared diverse perspectives on its beauty.
This year's contest attracted participants from nearly 40 countries, yielding over 200 video submissions and garnering more than five million views. The award ceremony spotlighted traditional Taizhou culture, with performances of local opera.
Taizhou's culinary exhibition proved equally captivating, with regional specialties like plum blossom cake earning acclaim from global attendees.
As Taizhou continues to promote its harmony-centered philosophy, visitors further explored landmarks like Tiantai Mountain and Guoqing Temple on July 31, deepening a cultural dialogue rooted in mutual understanding.
