Zhejiang Vista Sports Goods, a company based in Wenling, a county-level city in Taizhou, East China's Zhejiang province, was busy preparing ski goggles on Feb 4 to meet growing overseas demand. As the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games approach, global interest in winter sports continues to rise, leading to a surge in demand for winter sports equipment.

In recent years, winter sports gear has become a key driver of growth for Vista. The company, focusing on product innovation, releases multiple new designs of ski goggles and helmets each year. These products are constantly upgraded, with features like breathable ski goggles and carbon fiber helmets weighing just 665 grams quickly gaining international attention. Vista's ski goggles and helmets have gained widespread popularity, especially in markets including Austria, the United States, Canada, and South Korea.

As one of the early domestic companies specializing in winter sports equipment, Vista exported over 70 million yuan (about $10 million) worth of ski goggles and snowboards in 2025, while its helmet exports reached 200 million yuan. In the same year, ski goggle exports grew by 41.1 percent year-on-year.

The company is already working on orders for the upcoming ski season in Europe and expects ski goggle orders to increase by 61.8 percent year-on-year in 2026, with helmet orders growing by 14 percent.
