Taizhou OKLA Automobile, based in Jiaojiang district, Taizhou, East China's Zhejiang province, is making strides in the electric vehicle industry, with impressive growth in both sales and revenue.
Founded in 2015, the company has carved out a niche in the high-end electric scooter and motorcycle markets. In 2025, it sold more than 20,000 electric motorcycles, generating revenue of 100 million yuan (about $15 million), a 50 percent year-on-year increase. In January and February this year, sales reached 34.56 million yuan, an 80 percent increase compared with the same period last year. The company expects to achieve an output value of more than 200 million yuan by the end of 2026.
The company is developing customized solutions based on regional needs, including ultra-durable frames for markets such as South America and Africa, which require heavy-load transportation, and energy-efficient solutions for Southeast Asia.
Beyond selling vehicles, the company is transitioning into a "global solutions provider", offering services such as production guidance, employee training, and charging infrastructure support to its overseas partners.
Additionally, the company has developed a complete ecosystem for new energy solutions, including battery-swapping technology and a proprietary app that allows users to control their vehicles via smartphone.
