Nearly 2,000 new energy vehicles (NEVs) were prepared for export at Damaiyu port area in Taizhou, East China's Zhejiang province, on March 24 and are set to depart for Malaysia on March 26. This marks the fourth export of NEVs from the port and the largest batch to date.

The vehicles were loaded onto the specialized car carrier, Red Forest, under careful guidance. The vessel's six-deck parking area provided ample space, and workers quickly secured them with professional tie-downs to ensure safety during transit.

This large-scale export is largely the result of the natural conditions and strategic positioning of Damaiyu port area. With deep waters and plentiful terminal space, the port is well-equipped to handle large ro-ro vessels. Additionally, the port has capitalized on the spillover effect from the Ningbo-Zhoushan Port, enhancing its role in NEV exports.

Looking ahead, Damaiyu port area plans to continue regular ro-ro vehicle shipments, improving its infrastructure and operational processes to support the region's high-quality economic growth.
