The 139th China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, is underway in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, until May 5, bringing together more than 32,000 enterprises and over 75,000 exhibition booths across three phases.
Taizhou in East China's Zhejiang province is participating with 926 companies and 2,314 booths, marking its largest-ever presence at the event.
The Taizhou delegation includes a strong lineup of high-tech and specialized manufacturers, including 414 national-level high-tech companies, five national manufacturing champions, and 15 Authorized Economic Operator certified companies, underscoring the city's diversified industrial base.
Several Taizhou companies are debuting new products in newly added exhibition zones, including agricultural drones and smart healthcare. In the agricultural drone section, Zhejiang Wenxin Mechanical & Electrical presented a plant protection drone equipped with obstacle detection, centimeter-level positioning, and automatic return functions.
In the automotive sector, XGM showcased an intelligent electronically controlled damping system, suited to various international markets with customized product configurations for European and North American markets, emerging markets, and new energy market.
Other exhibitors focused on energy-saving compressors, new tooling products, and cross-sector innovations such as beverage vending machines, with several firms reporting increased R&D investment and expanding overseas orders.
Taizhou is accelerating its transition from traditional manufacturing to high-tech, green, and smart industries, using platforms like the Canton Fair to expand its global reach and strengthen its foreign trade resilience.
