Taizhou has added three new 10 billion yuan ($1.49 billion) agricultural industry chains, centered on broccoli and seafood from Linhai and wild-caught shrimp from Yuhuan, bringing the city's total to 19 and placing it among Zhejiang's leading cities.

The city is tapping local agricultural resources by promoting seed development, cultivating distinctive agricultural brands, and encouraging leading enterprises to expand agricultural processing and cold-chain logistics. It is also integrating digital agriculture and smart farming services while developing new business models and diversified sales channels to increase farmers' incomes and support rural development.

Taizhou plans to introduce a targeted development program, adopting tailored measures for each industry chain and improving brand development and project planning to foster more specialty agricultural industry chains with annual output values of 10 billion yuan or more.
