Recently, China's sports utility vehicle racing team put stickers with the logo 'Virtuous Quzhou·Sports Kecheng' on their cars -- promoting the Kecheng district in Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province -- when they participated in the 2020 Baja Asia Race in Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

"As the operator of the China Sports City Project, we want to make 'Sports Kecheng' known to sports fans across China in this way and build the reputation of Kecheng in racing circles," said Su Pengcheng, general manager of Hanwei Motorsports Co Ltd.

After taking a fancy to Kecheng's urban environment, transportation and strong support, Zhejiang Handa Xingquan Investment Management Co Ltd and Hanwei Racing Co Ltd signed a contract with Kecheng for the China Sports City Project in April 2019.

"When we put the cars on the track with the logo of 'Sports Kecheng' and 'China Sports Motor City', they attracted many friends from all over the country and many people came forward to ask me about the project and Kecheng," Su told journalists after he made a presentation recently.

Afterwards, many sports fans expressed their interest in coming to see Kecheng for themselves.

Discussing his plans, Su said: "On Oct 5, we will also go to Dunhuang (Gansu province) to take part in the local competition."
