Longyou county in Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, has focused on the development of an industrial chain cluster to reduce operating risks and costs for enterprises in the cluster and form a competitive advantage for enterprises related to the industrial chain.

From January to August, the output value of 150 regulated enterprises in Longyou Economic Development Zone reached 10.8 billion yuan ($1.6 billion), with a year-on-year growth of 3.28 percent, among which the output value in August reached 1.57 billion yuan, year-on-year growth of 8.48 percent.

It is acknowledged that more complete industrial chains can win a bigger market. As the main battlefield of economic development in Longyou, the zone focuses on the integration of the three emerging industries of high-end equipment manufacturing, strategic new materials and digital intelligent manufacturing to optimize the agglomeration carrier and innovation platform, and enhance the industry's long-term competitiveness.

"Our company has recovered from the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic and production orders are full until next year," said Xu Yun, deputy general manager of China Zhejiang High-speed Railway Bearings Co Ltd, which has settled in the development zone.
