Quzhou joins hands with Hema Fresh to build agricultural demonstration zone

Quzhou signed a strategic cooperation agreement in early August with Hema Fresh, a fresh food chain backed by e-commerce giant Alibaba, to build a digital agriculture demonstration zone in Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province.

PhaseⅠwill cover 733 hectares, which, together with the aquatic vegetable base in Duze village and the Lotus Modern Agriculture Park in Qujiang district, will cover a total area of more than 1,333 hectares, making it the largest "Hema village" in China.

In this harvest season for cane shoots, the Duze Agricultural Products Processing and Distribution Service Base in Qujiang, a new site for mountaintop agriculture, is under construction and will be put into use soon.

Hema village is one of the key projects of the "one thousand projects achieving prosperity for villages" scheme in Quzhou. Quzhou promotes the further development of the Hema Fresh Base in the city, and will select more high-quality agricultural products from the whole city to enter the sales platform. To date, 92 kinds of agricultural products have entered the sales platform.
