A cultural landmark will soon be unveiled in Quzhou, Zhejiang province — with Park 258 in Kecheng district currently undergoing a comprehensive upgrade. The park is set to reopen at the end of October.

On the site of an old cotton mill, Park 258 originally opened in May 2016. Through the upgrade, the aim is for it to become the most popular mixed-use cultural industry park for young people — featuring five themed areas, a jogging track, and over 600 new parking spaces.

These areas will include a cultural community — with artist studios, bookstores, and galleries — an anime community, and an outdoor tech community. Amenities will include cafes, bars, bakeries, and catering outlets.

The park will feature digital cultural innovation, flagship stores, youth social spaces, urban cultural displays, and industrial heritage elements. Attractions will include Michelin-starred restaurants, stand-up comedy shows, and debating competitions.

The north entrance, original parking garage, Indonesian Pavilion, and northern commercial street will receive upgrades, creating a vibrant and trendy atmosphere.

New parking facilities will be added in the south and north. The original parking area along the roadside will become the jogging track.
