Quzhou celebrates National Day, Mid-Autumn Festival with vibrant activities
The city of Quzhou in East China's Zhejiang province is set to stage vibrant celebrations for the upcoming eight-day National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays.
Running from Oct 1 to 8, the event will feature a rich tapestry of activities, including markets, performances, and local culinary experiences.
In the heart of Quzhou, the Explore Southern Confucianism in Quzhou Ancient City series will offer parades, flash mobs, and poetry-themed activities, showing the cultural charm of the city.
The municipal government's cafeteria will open its doors to the public from Oct 1 to 5, serving a variety of spicy dishes at an affordable price.

From Oct 1 to 7, the Southern Confucianism-themed Market will feature a national bread competition, pet contests, and DIY workshops.
From Oct 1 to 8, intangible cultural heritage performances, including dragon dances and stilt performances, will add traditional flair. Musical performances at Tianwang Tower will also span eight days, rendering both traditional and contemporary sounds.
In Kecheng district, the "Three Monsters, One Play" event on Oct 5 will allow visitors to interact with legendary characters. Qujiang district will offer a music event on Oct 1 at Qujiang Citizen Park and will stage the Four Provinces Intangible Cultural Heritage Carnival.
Longyou county, meanwhile, is inviting visitors to explore the Fengxiang Water Culture Park and Longyou Grottoes.
