To celebrate the 2026 Cultural and Natural Heritage Day on June 13, Zhejiang province has hosted a series of events, including the opening of archaeological museums, intangible cultural heritage displays, and cultural fairs.

The highlight of this year's events was that the Archaeological Site Museum of Gumie State, located within the Archaeological Site Park of Gumie State in Qujiang district, Quzhou, Zhejiang province, opened its doors to the public for a trial period on June 12.

The ancient state of Gumie has a history of over 3,000 years, dating back to the Western Zhou Dynasty (1046–771 BC).

The museum features four exhibition halls, covering an area of about 4,000 square meters and showcasing over a thousand artifacts, including bronze ware, jade objects, and primitive porcelain.
