The Zhejiang U11 Quzhou team has won the U11 title at the 2026 Cruyff World Football Club Youth Championship in Tianjin after beating FC Porto's U11 side 5-1 in the final to complete the tournament with seven straight wins.

The tournament, which ran from Aug 24 to 28, featured four age categories and youth teams from international clubs including FC Porto and Olympique de Marseille.

It draws on a youth football development system based on the philosophy of Dutch football legend Johan Cruyff, which has broad international influence in youth football training.

Quzhou took control early in the final. Captain Fang Zexuan opened the scoring before Zhang Zhirui and Zhao Yubo added two more goals. Yu Ruixuan scored from long range in the second half, and Xu Zerui added the fifth.

The team won all five group-stage matches, scoring 24 goals and conceding two before beating Beijing Xiaocaihong 6-0 in the semifinal.

The Quzhou youth football partnership was established in 2022 by the Quzhou municipal sports bureau, the Kecheng district government, and Zhejiang Professional Football Club. It has recorded 20 national titles since its establishment.

Local sports authorities said they plan to develop the youth training system, provide more high-level competition opportunities, and create a better environment for young players.
