Three Jiaxing athletes showcased their prowess at the 2024 National Kayak and Canoe Sprint Spring Championships, clinching a remarkable four gold and one bronze medals.

Among the standout performers were Miao Feilong, who secured gold in the men's single canoe 1,000m and 500m events, Li Dongyin, who claimed gold in the women's four-person kayak 500m, and Wang Qi, who triumphed in the women's double kayak 1000m and earned bronze in the women's four-person kayak 500m.

Li, a rising star since her stellar performance at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, has already earned qualification for the Paris Olympics, where she will represent her country with pride.

Meanwhile, Miao is gearing up for his chance to vie for the Olympic ticket on April 14 at the 2024 Asian Kayak and Canoe Sprint Championships in Tokyo, Japan. Their achievements stand as a testament to their dedication and skill, bringing honor to their hometown of Jiaxing.
