The total import and export value of goods in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, soared to 481.84 billion yuan ($66.51 billion) in 2024, marking a notable 9.3 percent year-on-year growth, per the latest data from the Jiaxing municipal bureau of commerce.

Breaking it down further, the total export value amounted to 359.36 billion yuan, reflecting a solid 7.7 percent increase, while the total import value stood at 122.48 billion yuan, showing a substantial 14.2 percent rise. 

Jiaxing was the 4th for total trade value, 5th in export value, and 4th in import value in Zhejiang. Additionally, in the province-wide rankings for growth rates in import and export, export value, and import value, Jiaxing claimed the 4th, 4th, and 2nd spots, respectively.
