The Affiliated Hospital of Jiaxing University recently adopted a localized AI model developed by Chinese AI startup DeepSeek, advancing intelligent healthcare services at the hospital. 

It aims to make AI technology more beneficial for patients, the public, and hospital management.

This intelligent system has undergone further enhancements, transforming into a patient-centric "intelligent healthcare consultant" powered by DeepSeek's extensive medical knowledge base. Whether it's common illnesses, chronic conditions, or complex symptoms, the AI-driven system guides patients to describe their symptoms through a simple interface interaction, swiftly recommending suitable departments for treatment.

It also reduces waiting times and mitigates medical resource wastage due to blind registrations. The system offers 24-hour online triage services, tailoring treatment recommendations based on patients' medical history, age, and gender, ensuring precise and efficient care.

DeepSeek is becoming widespread in clinical diagnostics, medical record management, patient services, and medical research, revolutionizing healthcare delivery and personalizing patient experiences.

Wang Xiaoguang, vice-president of the Affiliated Hospital of Jiaxing University, plans to further take advantage of AI technology, promoting modernized healthcare services of higher quality while ensuring patient privacy.
